Biggar Community Toilets received £500 from the SSE Clyde Windfarm fund towards the cost of upgrading their door entry system to accept contactless payments and RADAR cards.
The Gillespie Centre received a microgrant of £375.98 from the SSE Clyde Windfarm fund for new curtains, table coverings and sanitiser. They also received £250 from the Ventient Glenkerie fund and £250 from the Ventient Glenkerie COVID fund towards the cost of a new coffee machine and dishwasher.
Biggar Tinto Scouts received a microgrant of £818.95 from the SSE Clyde Windfarm Extension COVID fund for COVID kits for each section containing cleaning materials, sanitiser and first aid equipment to allow them to restart activities safely.
Biggar Rugby Club received an SSE Clyde Windfarm Extension COVID microgrant of £345.54 for sanitiser dispensers and sanitiser to allow juniors to restart training.
Biggar Youth Project received a microgrant of £950 from the SSE Clyde Windfarm Extensions COVID microgrant fund to cover the cost of screens, sanitiser dispensers and sanitiser to allow them to restart their lunchtime healthy snack service.
Biggar Community Toilets received a microgrant of £1000 from the SSE Clyde Windfarm Extension COVID microgrant fund to contribute towards the cost of re-opening the toilets. The microgrant will help to fund additional cleaning, sanitiser etc to allow the toilets to re-open safely.
