BIGGAR ROTARY CLUB
Biggar Rotary Club was founded in 1977. Although a small club, Biggar Rotarians are involved in numerous local initiatives. Before COVID, the club normally met every Tuesday evening for a meal, followed by a speaker. BIGGAR CORNETS' CLUB
The Cornets Club was founded1976 to celebrate 525 years of the forming of the Burgh of Biggar. A Warden Of The Burgh is selected to lead the Riding Of The Marches around the boundaries of Biggar. This has become an annual event to start the Gala Week celebrations and a Cornet is selected every year. The Cornets play a key role in organising the Biggar Bonfire and assist with Gala events.
