Suicide Prevention Week Walk – Castlebank Park Gardens 8th September 10am Staff and local people are very welcome to join us for a walk round Castlebank Park and afterwards we will have a cuppa/viewing of a suicide prevention animation, with lots of information and resources to take away. See the flyer for more information. Falls Prevention Week Activities Week beginning the 18th of September is Falls Prevention Awareness Week , an opportunity to raise awareness of falls prevention. The Community Learning and Development Device Fund The Community Learning and Development Device Fund objective is to provide capital funding to CLD organisations across Scotland to purchase digital devices that can be used by learners to support their learning. Digital devices must be used by learners to support them in their learning. Ownership of devices must be retained by the applying organisation for their lifetime. The Incredible Years programme The 12-week Incredible Years programme is for parents who want to strengthen their relationship with their child by using positive parenting. If you work with families suitable for the Pre-School Program (3-8 years), see the attached documents for more information. Referrals are due within the next couple of days. Our Health Together – Children and Young People The new health care strategy, Our Health Together – Living Our Best Lives in Lanarkshire, gives us an exciting opportunity to explore new ways that we can deliver health care in Lanarkshire. We know that some people in Lanarkshire may already have taken part in discussions about our services. Staff are looking to build on this and hear from children and young people to have their voice included in the plan and understand what matters to children and young people living in communities across Lanarkshire.
