Biggar Community Council has received funding from Clyde Wind Farm (Scotland)’s 54 turbine Clyde Extension, which forms part of the 206 turbine Clyde Wind Farm. The fund has been established to contribute to projects across six community council areas, with 10% of the most recent annual contribution being made available immediately to those community councils to assist them in responding to the COVID-19 emergency. Biggar Community Council has been allocated £10,000 from this fund and is inviting applications from community groups providing help to vulnerable people in difficulty because of the Coronavirus pandemic. Who can apply for an award? Applicants should normally meet the following conditions:
Applications can be for amounts up to £1000. If successful, we aim to have the funding with you within 7 days, using bank transfer to a UK bank account.
