The BCC Secretary has been circulating information arriving on BCC’s e mail to council members and putting relevant items on Facebook and the BCC website. 7. Police Reports – “Biggar Community Council Police Report Police update – 18/03/2023 – 14/04/2003 34 Incidents were recorded by Police Scotland for Biggar. For comparison, in the same period there were 181 incidents recorded for Lanark and 206 for Carluke. 7 crimes were recorded during the above timescale. The crimes were for Vandalism x 3, Theft x 3 and Theft by Housebreaking. At the time of compiling this report 6 of the 7 crimes have resulted in persons being reported to the Procurator Fiscal. BCC Business Account £372.00 Clyde Windfarm £3417.50 Glenkerie Windfarm £772.60 Clyde Extension £2825.27 Incentive Account £376.52 Concern expressed in the delay of getting new signatures for the bank. The Cornets have received their money 10. Windfarm Grants – new applications are awaited. There is a need to advertise the availability of grants. It was suggested that we include an advertisement in the Biggar Gala Programme. Action: Laura Shirley. 11. Planning Matters – nothing of note. 12. Other Matters
